Eid Mubarak! The Muslim holiday of Eid-al-fitr signifies the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting. It is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwāl, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar; this year, Eid-al-fitr begins on the evening of Tuesday, April 9. Eid is celebrated with prayer, food and visits with family and friends.

Their membership is made up of women and youth, who are immigrants or were born and raised in Canada.
