Living with Loss Peer Support Group
Living With Loss is a peer grief support group for adults 18+ which provides a space to connect with others who are grieving a death. You do not have to attend every group session, but can select the sessions that suit your specific needs. You are welcome to join at any phase of your grief and attend for as long as you need the support.
A Discussion with Leah Reesor-Keller
Join us for a discussion as Leah chats with host Kimberly Penner about what led her to write about faith, leadership and a culture shift in the context of climate change. Remembrance Reflections Poppy Making Workshop
Join the City of Waterloo, Royal Canadian Legion, and the Waterloo Public Library for a learn to knit or crochet workshop. In these two-hour workshops participants will learn how to make knitted or crocheted poppies. The poppies will be added to our Remembrance Reflections Commemorative Project honouring those who served in times of war. All supplies will be provided.
DIY Macramé Feather
Get creative with macramé! Learn how to make your own DIY macramé feather, for a wall hanging or just for fun. No experience necessary.

Learn how to make old fashioned wax seals using hot glue guns. Use them as decorations for stationary or sticking on the back of envelopes for a fancy touch.
2SLGBTQIA+ Reading Circle
Join WPL and SPECTRUM for a reading circle for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies that takes less commitment than a book club. We'll have different readings (short stories, essays, poetry, etc) that we will read together and then discuss. No preparation needed! The readings will explore 2SLGBTQIA+ topics and/or be written by 2SLGBTQIA+ writers.

Textile presents its inaugural fall literary event, Black Talk: In Conversation with Hanif Abdurraqib and Antonio Michael Downing, including readings from Hanif's and Antonio's newest works — There's Always This Year: On Basketball and Ascension and Stars in My Crown, respectively.

It can be difficult to incorporate beneficial time for yourself given how busy life gets, which is why this program is intentionally designed to give you time for just that.
